Terms & Conditions relating to sale of products

By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. In order to contract with ShuMo you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. ShuMo retains the right to refuse any request made by you. If your order is accepted we will inform you by email. When placing an order, you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. If an international delivery (both EU and non EU) "failed" due to reasons involving the customer, such as but not limited to, a failure to pay local tax and disbursements, a failure to collect your item from a pre-arranged collection point or any such reason we will charge to the order a fee equivalent to the original postage cost. This will be deducted from your refund after the item arrives back with us. This is in addition to the original postage cost which is non-refundable. Local taxes and charges levied by Government agencies or by shipping agents on behalf of Government agencies are the responsibility of the customer and therefore must be settled by the customer.

Terms & Conditions relating to ShuMo offers 

All discount codes must be placed within the timescale mentioned in offer. All discount codes must be entered in the designated section at checkout. Offers are non-redeemable after the point of purchase. Should multiple variations of an offer provide the buyer with an increasing discount relative to the amount of products purchased, any products returned by the buyer will be treated as a singular purchase so discounts will correspond to the base level of the offer.

Your contract with ShuMo 

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation, by e-mail, that the goods you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.

Pricing
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. All prices on the Website are inclusive of United Kingdom VAT (where applicable) and exclusive of postage and packing. Details of postage and packing charges can be found at our delivery information page. Prices quoted on the Website are indicative only and are subject to change. Furthermore, prices on the Website may differ from those in our retail store.

Non-Refundable Items
Items which have been customised are strictly non-refundable. Customers who choose to have "rubber grip soles" or "added heel height" to shoes or boots will not qualify for a refund in the event the item is not as expected. The item would deem to have been customised or personalised according to your request and therefore non-returnable. ShuMo is not able to refund orders that are deemed to be "trade" orders where a discount has been applied to facilitate a volume purchase. A trade order is defined as a purchase for resale or for business use. If the agreed sale price reflects a discount in the standard sale price and it is clear the purchase is for business use, it will be deemed a trade order by default. By agreeing to receive a discount or to procure goods using our standard trade price list, you agree to be bound by the returns exclusions for trade customers. This exclusion does not apply to local authority orders where both parties are bound by contractual agreement. We are also not able to refund "scotchguard protection" which is an added service that cannot be re-stocked in the event of a return.  The item price will be refunded but the cost of "scotchguard protection" cannot be refunded.

Fair Wear & Tear Policy
In order to be covered by our fair wear and tear policy we ask you to take reasonable care and exercise due care and attention when wearing or using any item purchased from our store.  If a fault occurs with your item during its lifetime, we will refer to our fair wear and tear policy to determine whether the item has been used with consideration whilst you have owned it.  If we feel your item has not been cared for in what we would consider to be a reasonable manner, we may, and entirely at our own discretion, refuse to repair/replace or refund your purchase due to the item not being adequately cared for or due to the item being neglected or misused whilst in your custody.

Shortages
For orders involving multiple items, we reserve the right to dispatch items separately in order that we may fulfil your order in the quickest and most efficient manner possible.  In the event of a shortage, where we have not indicated that there are items "to follow" from your order, please inform us immediately in writing as soon as possible and always within 7 working days of receipt.  Please retain the exterior packaging and invoice as this may assist us with our investigation.
